RedRum On a side note, got to feel bad for Luton.

Heroics to get themselves in to 5th round to get a mouth-watering tie of.... Millwall.

Yeah, but I would be happy if I was them, more chance of getting through and playing a bigger team at a later stage. Which is what I wanted for us but wouldnt you just know it.

If I was a Luton fan I'd be happy about Millwall. The £ for them is huge if they get through another round & they have more chance to with a draw like Millwall.

Lower West Fulham were charged £45.

Seems as if complaints have been made as Manure supporters were allowed to buy for £40.

Fulham only took around 1,900 supporters.

Seems as if away support is a dying breed. Hardly surprising given the costs of a day out.

That's quite good for them! Anyway this is the article about the Fulham tickets.

If tickets are more than £30 definitely out as I can't afford it!

Man Utd v West Ham & Man Utd v Fulham were both horribly dull. Hopefully we'll put up more of a fight!

Why should Utd worry about the ticket price for RFC fans they can charge what they like as their fixtures sell out.

We will probally sign up for only 2,000 of the 3,000 in the South East Corner of the ground allocated to away fans for the league fixtures.

I love this site. Here we are in a relegation battle and other threads we are saying 'screw the cup, let's stay up' (that should be our new chant... Screw the cup, the Royals are are staying up') - anyway, we get drawn away to the biggest team in the world (I await disdainful comments from closet Barcelona fans etc) - and now we are unsure if we want to stay in the ruddy thing after all. Let's allow Man U to do what we all want, and let's make sure we stay up. I won't be going, nor to any unlikely replay - I've seen those Manc (allegedly) b*stards (definitely) play us enough times.

Oh, by the way before I go; my powers of prediction areas good as Michael Fish's powers of predicting hurricanes, so it may be woth a few quid on us doing them.

The problem is, as stated in that article, that Fulham have no real argument as they then charge Man U fans £49 when they come to the Cottage!

Considering Mark Poogatch is happy to mention any previous meetings between clubs drawn together in the cup I thought that it was somewhat remiss of him not to remember the most famous Luton v Millwall game

It'll be a great fixture, and lets face it we'd come up against them sooner or later if we managed to progress.
All the pressure will be on Man U so this will be the first game in ages the team can just enjoy rather than worrying about the drop zone.

If we were going to draw them I would have much preferred it to have been after we'd played there in the league - can't really expect us to win there twice in one season

bobby1413 It's not at all guaranteed we'll lose

Yeah but it kind of is. They're the best team in the country.

Absolute stinker of a draw. Out in turn they came: Milton Keynes "that'll be good" NOPE, Luton "yes please" NOPE, Oldham "never been there, go on..." NOPE. After that we were bound to draw a stinker and United away - for so many reasons - was as bad as it gets. Why do we never have any p*ssing luck in the draw? Millwall - poxy Millwall - got to a bloody final in 2004 without drawing a single Premier League side.

Not sure about the "no luck in the draw" bit after playing two 3rd division clubs in the past 2 rounds.

Just to clear up the ticket prices for the game ... unless there's a dramatic change in policy at United ...

United's season ticket holders have to sign up to buy all home cup games as part of their terms and conditions (the only opt out is for the League cup but if you opt out of that then you can't apply for away games or any finals they might get to) - this means that for all home cup games United are guaranteed to sell the same number of tickets as there are season ticket holders c 52000. On that basis (purely financial) - there's no incentive to reduce the prices for games. They do have some incentives - for the Fulham game season ticket holders could buy an extra ticket for a junior for £12.
As for the differential in what Fulham fans paid and what home fans could buy tickets for - that's all about this "member" issue. As a paid up member of United, you get tickets at £5 discount from the normal "non member" prices. As away fans, obviously, they aren't members and therefore pay £5 more ... it's been like this for years

Is £45 too expensive ... yep, certainly is ...

On their site it has us down for 5.30pm on Saturday 16th. So they're on telly and City will be on Sunday. Hopefully they are discussing cheaper prices!

It does however, already have the date of the 6th round of the cup on there, so they are obviously confident of beating us!
