Adkins must have thought "Oh I wonder how best to beat Blackpool"?

"I know!!! I will leave our best forward on the bench!"

floyd__streete Cutting all the crap - I'm pleased to see McD start the season well with his new club. I don't think you're a proper Reading fan if you don't appreci8 this.
goes without saying. And lol at Royalee currently sucking Sandmans salty balls,

but come on Nige ffs!

Judge Drenthe Can we not bin this thread now? It's painful to read. And it's getting more painful each week. Adkins is a better manager, with time and support from the owner he will have us playing (and is in spells) far better football than Dermott did. Will he? Let's see. So far, it's just words from people like you. One promotion with MD vs three for Adkins, plus the style in which NA earned his gives him the edge for me. Bollox. It's about winning. It's not ice-skating. In any case, it's not healthy for you, me, or the club to keep harking back to the past. That's what forums are about - talking about the past and speculating about the future.

Seemingly not, unfortunately.

Exactly how many of Adkins promotion's were won whilst managing Reading? Then again he's won more promotion's than Ferguson, Mourinho and Del Bosque combined so he must be better than them as well, right?

Doesn't even need to reel them - they're throwing themselves into the net.

So far, Adkins has come up short.

Bandini Our current brand of so-called passing football is all well and good, but no-one can dispute that a McDermott team would have held on for the win on Saturday.

Don't get me wrong though, I still think that the manager has at least another couple of games grace period before Anton needs to start looking for alternatives.

 4fs can't wait for the school holidays to be over

There's no point delaying the change until after the end of the transfer window - the new guy will need to bring in his own players.

As Tommy Brns (RIP) showed us, there's still plenty of time for Atkins' replacement to get some new blood in.

I was fully behind Adkins, but now we have lost a game of football and Leeds are 3pts ahead of us after 4 games I want him dead.
