Did Brett & Cedric ever feature up front together for the reserves? If so, I assume it was a free-scoring encounter.

Reading University were left devastated by them both.

I believe Brett played the first 45 mins, wearing them down completely, whilst Baseya the beast came on at half-time to finish the rout. Final score approx 300-1 the mighty royals.

Williams was a victim of the clubs success, came in and we were in trouble in the league. Fitness was lacking as not a pro, got injured and then our fortunes changed to the point we were at the other end of the table. That aside he never set the world alight on any of his loans, but may of been better served been coached at the club than loaned out all the time.
He was signed hoping to be the next Doyle or Long but never happened.

So, not every non league signing is as successful as Ian Wright  I wonder how much of his inability to progress as had been hoped was down to BMcD's tactics and not Brett's ability to play the game? We may never know.

BMc's tactics in the games Williams didn't play in :?:

I like how Brian is getting blamed for everything now. The 'Richard III' of Reading Football Club.
