The Reading FC News App

by richiroyal » 26 Jul 2013 20:57

I have spoken about this app on here before but thought i will remind you again about it!

The Reading FC news app sources news from lots of Reading FC websites. This means you can view all the news in one place on your mobile.
*NEW* If you allow the app to receive notifications you will now receive Reading FC headline news for example New signings.
*NEW* The 2013 - 2014 fixture list is live on the app.

You can download the app at the Apple store and the Google Store

Apple Store - Search Reading FC News - Pay 69p - One off fee for life
Google Store - Search Reading FC News - Free

The Google Store version will be charging soon, so get it quick whist its free.

The App is not free because they are covering the fees for putting them on the stores and maintaining them. The app is not run for profit. Its ran as a hobbie.

Thanks !

Fair enough, you do need to be using Opera Mini™ browser on your mobile for that to work too. Also I would like to point out the Reading Fc news app now notifys you of top headline news. For example like the official Reading FC text service which you have to pay for.

Or you could scrap the app altogether and we can follow one of several RFC news accounts on twitter (of which there's already too many) which give us all the daily news anyway.

This is just an heads up, The Reading FC News app is currently on sale on the Apple market for 69p. This is going to go up to £1.49 on the 7th of September 2013. The increase is due to maintenance costs to keep the app going and on the Apple market.

Also if you have any ideas on how to improve the app then please let me know!

Promote it to DoF and get it to sign a striker.

How will I know if it's working?

Lies are of no interest to me. I do not want to subscribe to something that treats me as
a two year old child, believing everything I am told.

A contributor stated that the club had not lied, they had used modal verbs and the conditional tenses. In a word
rubbish put out by the PR department. I wonder if there is something else they haven´t told us and that the king of spin Alistair Campbell and his henchman and former boss the Right Honourable Tony Blair are now on the payroll. Perhaps their wages are so high and that is the reason we didn´t sign anyone.

69p for the next couple of days for this seems reasonable, think I'll give it a go before it goes up...
