3points I really don't get the venom and hatred of some people towards another (or many other) football team. It's just a bloody game !!!!!

I do hate Brighton tbf...

Me too. That’s for two reasons. My old man is a Palace fan and so I have a soft spot for them and I moved to Sussex and since becoming good, there is too much BHA around

BHA on car number plates :x

Hate them, I hate them with a passion that is bordering on lunacy and if I could be arsed I'd give you a hundred reasons why I hate them.
Just a week or two before the season started they were in turmoil, no Manager so they employed some minge called Paunovic who nobody had ever heard of (causing me to LOFL)

Unfortunately they managed to keep hold of their good players; Meite, Lucas Joao and the excellent Ejaria and some Portugese bloke named Pussey/Puskop or something like that.
I predicted before the season started that they would have a shyte season

It's all gone wrong and woe is me.

They are the club that I hate the most in the whole goddam world, no other club comes close.

The complete and utter f ucking cheating bastards.

Cilla bloody Black my ARSE

I find it weird when people actually have that much hatred for another football club.

That's because you support tinpot, irrelevant Reading, so you don't know what a rivalry is.

I also have a dislike for Brighton, largely because when they got a rich fan owner and entered an upturn in fortunes as we were entering a decline many of their fans very quickly looked down on us when the reality is that we are 2 ridiculously identical teams who haven't won shit apart from the 1 token tinpot trophy, Simod Cup for us, Charity Shield in 1910 for them.

Didn't they win the FA Cup in the early 90's - I'm sure they must've 'cos Smith must score

No, they reached the final in 1983. That is the extent of their honours.

Pepe the Horseman At least that QPR fan is honest about hating us, rather than taking the Brighton/Fulham approach of pretending they don't care about us, but can't stop telling people how little they care about us, so little in fact, that it makes their blood boil.

I cant stick Fulham. If it all goes t*ts up for us this season at least there's a real possibility we can chant "Worst them in History" next season when they steal Derby's record.
1 point in 6 games suggests they are on course.

Good grief, was it that long ago.

Senior memory at work (or rather not !!)

Although I think you may have missed the sarcasm relating to the commentary quote.

Like this one:

Good game of football.

Rovers were good but Reading were excellent. On that performance Reading will walk this league.

Top 6 to aim for now.”

For anyone that wants a peruse from just before Joao goal onwards.

Good attempt at a Churchill quote:

> Never has an away team done so little and score so many.

"So how are we rating Reading?

Big, strong, athletic, very good technically and very well drilled.

Could go straight up."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Not the first game Reading wins with 35% possession. A good team for sure."

Far from the first we have lost with 65% possession.

Reading just like all the other teams that have done us in those games, for me. Getting more credit than they're due in this match because they are top of the league. Take their chances but otherwise...bang. Average. Which is a lot better than our defence is.

My thoughts exactly. And I think their manager has more than an ounce of nous.

Best side I've seen so far although I didn't see the Bournemouth game.

played a couple of games for us and was frankly s***e,was s***e at sheff wed, turns up here and he`s the 2nd coming of pele because we can`t do any basic defending, the fact that venus and mowbray were excellent defenders is a bit ironic innit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was really impressed with Joao when be was with us. Pace, power, skill. Had it all.

Reading have obviously figured out to use him.

For a side that looked like they could go up another gear at will they conceded a lot of chances.

People are giving them far too much credit - on another night we win that game.

I get that they gifted us a goal but surely the point is that good teams don't give up easy chances and they also take the chances given to them.

The thing with Blackburn is that, putting Sheffield Wednesday's points deduction aside, 9 of their 10 points have come against the bottom 3.

Bristol City

They were hammered tonight.

The wheels will come off imo.

A few years ago they had a similar start which extended to around 11 games I think (not checked) which was a record start. Not sure that they made the playoffs that season

bet they are loving everyone writing them off.

Fair play to them, 22 points already. Only need to average about 1.25 points a game now and they’ll finish in the top 6!!

Unfortunately this is just Rovers under Mowbray.
