My first live Posh game for 3 years. Thoughts:
- two teams who will be in for a relegation battle
- even first half. Two quick fire goals (again,) did for us
- football wise, we were pretty pleasing on the eye but far, far too passive and timid when going forward
well that was frustrating night. For large parts of the game we looked the better side and the more likely to take something from it.
Reading fans thought we were truly shockingly bad for a championship team, I'm now more convinced than ever that we've royally screwed up and may go down because of it.
A worrying performance when you consider Reading currently have 9 first team players injured.
Almost every team we played made regular fast or long passes with precision, and players had the speed and quality to get the ball under control including reading tonight
The reality is we’ve got a piss poor squad for the league. Totally out of our depth in almost every position.
not really outplayed but reading are imo a poor side and brushed us aside
In all seriousness - they are no better than us. They were awful.
We're oxf*rd.
That was a poor side we faced. The number of chances to get points at this level are finite; to stay up, we need to at least look competent against them and not oxf*rd lose. Quite simply, we can't keep saying 'we'll be fine' because every time we toss away points we ought to be winning, it's adding to our workload to get to 50 points. We have't got time to adjust.
Well, if we can’t even get a point from this lot, we really are oxf*rd
Yep, they were awful and in the end it was comfortable for them
I honestly don't think we'll play a worse team than this Reading one. They have been woeful.

NewCorkSeth But surprised by a lot of the reaction from posh fans on twitter and here. Did they not notice where we finished last season and the number of starters we have out injured?
A casual observer would probably note that we're in a poor run of form rather than just shit. Christ even the Second Tier pod have been largely confused by how poor we have been defensively given our players and one of them hates us.

The commentator last night didn't help things. Was talking like we were in a relegation dogfight with three games to go.

Just after Swift`s opener.
He breaks the deadlock in this crucial relegation battle I mean WTAF.

To be fair, one did point out that we had nine first team members out injured.
