Very valid point. It would be a far more effective deterrent were PC Plod to say that anyone convicted would be forced to pay to watch the remaining England World Cup Qualifiers and the finals themselves if the team manage to get through.

A Football Banning Order stops you attending any games in the top 5 divisions, which to me would be a far greater loss than not being allowed to travel to tournaments abroad.
