Big problem for the league as to when to play the game again as surely it will have to be, as Forest play Man Utd on Friday. We play on Monday and Forest then have a PL Cup semi on Thursday 2nd May against Spurs.
That means that the earliest the match can be played is Sunday/Monday 5th/6th May. The cut-off currently is the end of April so no idea what they will do.
The other possibility is that they decide that the league takes priority and postpone the PL Cup Semi and we play it on 2nd May.

Clyde1998 Don't know what the rules are, but we've secured a play-off spot in Premier League 2 and can qualify for the Premier League International Cup with a win over Man City on Monday(?).

The International Cup would give our U21s a minimum of four matches against foreign opposition. PSV have participated in all eight competitions; Benfica, Porto, Athletic Bilbao; Dinamo Zagreb; Hertha Berlin; Celtic and Villarreal have competed in at least six of the eight. Would be a fantastic experience for the young lads to play in that. I think we reached the semis one year.

Not sure about the semis but remember us playing Bayern II at Wycombe and losing 1-0.

Thought that was at the Madejski?

Interestingly* of all the players on the pitch that day, the most first team apps for Bayern's first team were made by a player on the Reading side.

We must have played them twice because i was at the Madejski match when they had loads of fans with banners in the end where 1871 is now.

That youth team had pedigree. McIntyre, Olise, Loader, Holsgrove, Richards, Holmes and Osho have all had an impact upon the professional game to different degrees, and CBC still could.

If this year's U21 team is a similar batch it bodes well. Particularly impressive as the 1st team has taken several eligible players, plus we sold Vickers and Harris.

If the professional game is the standard then Akin Odimayo is playing regularly for Northampton, Ben House scored 12 goals for Lincoln last season, and Josh Barrett and Tyler Frost are at Aldershot…

Change to the fixture list following the abandonment at Forest - game will now be replayed in full on Monday.

This means the Man City game scheduled for the SCL on Monday has now been moved forward and will now take place on Friday (26th) at 2.30pm at Bearwood. The match will no longer be open to the public.

That’s not quite right- RFC season ticket holders can attend by phoning the ticket office and paying £5

Sure they can but the official site stated the game is behind closed doors.

They always say that to put off people attending but the rules of the league state that ALL PL 2 games must be available for supporters to attend( unless the club has exemption) RFC chose to make it season ticket holders only to further stop punters attending !!!

Because of the short notice in this fixture change Reading fc are unfortunately not allowing spectators in and have special dispensation from the Premier League for this match.

What a joke-Friday’s match is live on City + !! A month subscription is £4.99. When i paid for a month to watch the FA Youth cup match it was very easy to sign up and to cancel.

David Kawa seems to be a forward - last or currently with Peterborough but was also at Wimbledon.

THis seems to be him: https://www.theposh.com/news/kawa-joins-under-21s-group

Talk of signing a long term deal - if he is on trial with us, that must be getting terminated early.
