StrandedClyde1998 Don't know what the rules are, but we've secured a play-off spot in Premier League 2 and can qualify for the Premier League International Cup with a win over Man City on Monday(?).
The International Cup would give our U21s a minimum of four matches against foreign opposition. PSV have participated in all eight competitions; Benfica, Porto, Athletic Bilbao; Dinamo Zagreb; Hertha Berlin; Celtic and Villarreal have competed in at least six of the eight. Would be a fantastic experience for the young lads to play in that. I think we reached the semis one year.
Not sure about the semis but remember us playing Bayern II at Wycombe and losing 1-0.

Interestingly* of all the players on the pitch that day, the most first team apps for Bayern's first team were made by a player on the Reading side.

That youth team had pedigree. McIntyre, Olise, Loader, Holsgrove, Richards, Holmes and Osho have all had an impact upon the professional game to different degrees, and CBC still could.
If this year's U21 team is a similar batch it bodes well. Particularly impressive as the 1st team has taken several eligible players, plus we sold Vickers and Harris.

Stranded Change to the fixture list following the abandonment at Forest - game will now be replayed in full on Monday.
This means the Man City game scheduled for the SCL on Monday has now been moved forward and will now take place on Friday (26th) at 2.30pm at Bearwood. The match will no longer be open to the public.

That’s not quite right- RFC season ticket holders can attend by phoning the ticket office and paying £5

Sure they can but the official site stated the game is behind closed doors.

They always say that to put off people attending but the rules of the league state that ALL PL 2 games must be available for supporters to attend( unless the club has exemption) RFC chose to make it season ticket holders only to further stop punters attending !!!
