Next up for the U23`s is a home PL 2 match on Monday Feb 7th at the Select Car Leasing stadium against Stoke City KO 7om.

As in he was a previous student who owned the book? Would be pretty cool to see a Reading player's name in the book I was using, living in Fleet I don't know how many went to Court Moor though! Supposedly Darren Campbell went there.

Yes, he owned the book previously and I doubt many kids would know who he was though. (Apparently Bob the Builder was also on the list of previous owners of the book and he's a tad more famous!)

We knew Michael went to the same school as my boys (which isn't a million miles away from Fleet) and it really annoys them if he gets called Strickland and also when Wikipedia got his day of birth wrong.

Would not be against him being our next manager if he decides to retire this summer - he is clearly preparing for the next stage of his career. At worst, would be great to have him as a coach next year and potentially retain his registration in case we need him to play.

U 18’s beat West Brom 2-0 at Bearwood this morning.

The U23`s return to action tomorrow(Monday) with their final PL cup group C match against Derby at the SCL Stadium KO 1pm. The Royals are bottom with 3 points and Derby top with 13 - so it`s very much a nothing game.
