Big wake up call for the "extra's" that were selected tonight, many of this side tonight need moving on, but as has become blatently clear during this window, not many of our players are being chased by other clubs so looks like we are stuck with them.

I think that we have ok squad depth, but it seems they cannot play Adkins style - hence this result.

We have a big squad, and a lot of dross.

The likes of Williams and Cummings could do a job brought into the first team. But a team made up of a our backups is clearly a bit shite as a whole. Particularly in defense.

Many sadly are out of their depth, this is the result of not investing in the past. Transfers have moved up a notch, but RFC have not.

We bought players that had done poorly elsewhere, but once had potential, IMHO.

Tamworth_Royal Over to you Anton

And that's exactly where the problem is, look out for massive happenings in September , heard it hear first

We had a weak squad by premier league standards, with a lack of investment, but this result isn't about a lack of investment.

Even with the changes we've made, losing to Peterborough alone would be a poor result.

Losing by this margin though, is unacceptable on every level possible.

NewCorkSeth
FridaysGhost I keep telling you all where the problems are and how to solve them. I'm a fan and I hate being right but if only some of the rest of you would take off the rose-tinted spectacles and let us all speak with one voice - we might get somewhere!

This is Brendan Rodgers all over again except we have better ball-players now and the team can half-play what Adkins wants. We need ball-playing CB's but don't have them. We need two decent forwards but haven't bought them. We need a creative midfield player who ghosts around behind a single striker. Simples.

But more than these, we need a Manager who plays to the strengths of the players he has - not to some perfect football idea that the players can't hack!

You really are a terrible bore.. How many threads have you reiterated these notions in?

How many threads are needed to speak reality?

This guy knows how to get things to go through windows and, whilst he's at it, maybe he could conjure up a couple of decent strikers too!

QPR losing home 0-2 to the Swine which is slightly amusing.
