Think it was funnier when people were suggesting nobbers who'd clearly be disastrous in the role, rather than gingerly putting themselves forward for some admin role or something.

Davezk Scout within the Midlands area.

We've already scouted the entire Midlands area and know everything about all the players but unfortunately we cannot buy any of them.

Spent the whole budget on scouting with no funds to do anything with the knowledge?

I'll cook the books and tell you who you'll need to sell in order to fill the black hole

Anyone capable of a long throw?

We'll need that in the lower leagues. Also looking for anyone over 6 ft 4 who can jump.

Since this is such a bad idea I'm in.
On the basis that we run this on the Barcelona model, I want to be President and CFO.
Season tickets will be given out based on the loose change you find in your sofa on the 1st of June.
I will sign players for huge fees, but it will all be paid for by merchandise sales.
A Messi shirt will cost £150, same for Bale and Ronaldo.
£250 for Gylfi shirts.

Have a problem. My nurse (who has never given any indication that she can speak or understand English)announced that the field is under water for long periods of the year and " she aint pushing me through a smelly bog". But, I try to explain that was Elm Park at its finest but " nor do I like tattooed blokes in jock straps waggling their things about".
(I really must get her credentials translated from what appear to be Slavonian cyrillic) But those are their legs they shoot with I explain. "Shoot? I ave a bullet proof vest" she says. " never needed it at the Mad place"
Oh dear.
Suggestion. The derelict (listed???) swimming pool could be opened up for the away team. Last time I went there in the 1940's there were some very strange things lurking in the murky depths and by now they will have grown so I doubt that a full side would emerge from there!

My Mum makes tremendous, award winning pasties. OK, she's in Devon so we'll need to call them 'West Country' or 'South West' pasties but I think that will be fine. Can I sell 'em in the ground please? She's retired so has loads of time and I think she's still got a few years in her but I'm sure I could find another source if she pop's it.

Mate of mine works for Rebellion and I reckon I could do a pasty and pint for £4.50, or a fiver with a mars bar. Do you think I should include the sauce or do you reckon 10p per sachet is fair?

This sounds promising - I'd include the sauce, we don't want to rip our fan base off. If we could sell 5 of them a match, we'd have enough to buy a few more players. How much does she want for them?

Should Reading FC be folded?

by Stuka » 05 Sep 2013 15:08

Should the Club just be dissolved, folded, and we all call it quits?

Maybe now is the time.

...or perhaps not? what do you think?

I thought this was going to be origami related - how to turn the Pog into a praying mantis, Nick Hammond to a swan in 17 moves...

48% of takings to the winner, 50% to the club, 2% to the ticket sellers.

This question beggars all belief
The level of intelligence on this site gets lower by the day.
The johnny - come - latelies who have never had it so good should have been at Elm Park
with 2,500 to 3,000 real fans of RFC.
