akranes 22,000 tickets sold so far

For an early KO, on TV, and with a strong chance of shit weather I would be surprised if this many actually turn up on matchday...

Really? Last game of season with a huge reward if we get a good result? I think it will be highest attendance or season, no one will want to miss it

Was meant to be working from 12-3 on Saturday and now I don't have to go. Might try and get a ticket. Do many people travel to football on their tod :?: Is it socially acceptable :?:

I used to go by myself for about 2 or 3 seasons. Absolutely fine.

I would say you can come and stand with me, but I don't like the sound of you.

I have the kids this weekend so am having to take them, the 7 year old girl will be ok, it is my 3 year old boy that might be a problem.

Do you think it is an issue that one of the tickets is not with the other two?

If you take the single seat and leave the kids with crisps and a drink you should actually enjoy the game. They'll still be there at the final whistle (as long as you remember to go and get them)

Congratulate Burnley, it's the right thing to do.

Lose 0-1 from a late Ings goal.

Start singing "You are going down" because we're right kn :!: bs

Dilemma, if its a whitewash then they deserve a booing, really for an underperfoming season, but come 5pm we could still be in the playoffs, such is the league this year....

A tense goal-less nail-biter as Brighton rack up the goals against Forest. Pearce ventures forward in the dying seconds and with the last kick of the game unleashes a scorcher from 40 yards into the top corner. Crowd goes wild.

The glass half empty ending ....

Brief pitch invasion follows. SJM appears with microphone to rapturous applause. Explains we went into administration at half time so miss out on Wembley misery on financial technicality.

Imagine if we end up losing 4-0 or something, end up finishing 7th, and the players do their annual lap of honour, while everyone is steaming mad.

Alex Pearce would probably go round tapping his chin and pointing upwards

Frustrating 1-1 draw, and Brighton win their game with a late goal and take 6th.

Yep this is my take on it too unfortunately - except I can see Brighton scoring really early on & then our fans get nervous & the atmosphere becomes really edgy.

What would be amazing would be to go 1 goal down until say 87 mins, think it's all over & then comeback Man U v Bayern CL final style. The place would erupt.

Such a shame the kick off is so bloody early. It leaves very little drinking time.

My apologies, i thought we were a fairly lone early game. That said, the same effect could be produced with any significant delay in the Brighton game.

I reckon the club could covertly delay the kick off by 15 minutes so we know the result of the Brighton match for the closing stages. It really worked to our favour at home to Forest the evening we went up.
