Darren Bent looks to be going to Derby on loan until the end of the season.

Does this mean they are out of the running for Murray?

Not necessarily, but it should end their interest in Dominic Samuel.

Starting for Palace today, should've just scored. We seriously need to give up on him and focus attentions elsewhere.

£3m??? Surely we could get 2 half decent strikers for £1.5m each from lower leagues?

Sky ratings from his Palace game today:

Player ratings
Crystal Palace: Speroni (6), Ward (6), Dann (6), Delaney (6), Kelly (6), Ledley (6), Puncheon (8), McArthur (6), Bannan (5), Gayle (7), Murray (5).

Leave him there, for 3m we could bring in a new striker and defender. Murray just isn't that good, or that keen to join us, which says it all !.

Ian Royal Very good save to stop him scoring today.

I would say that it wasn't a very good finish that made the save easier to make.

Palace fans seems to think he played well today- held the line well. Keen to keep hold of him given they lack that sort of player.

Simon Peach:
One striker staying at #CPFC is Glenn Murray. Pardew has been impressed by him & thinks his experience can be key.

Time to move on.

LOL @ the 'he's shit'ers.

Wasn't much hope we'd get him if he was getting a sniff there. Why would he agree to Championship football and wages when he can get PL ones.

He's at Crystal Palace Ian, not Chelsea.

No, he didn't. Bcubed is right - he gave 80% max and played like a player who knew he was only temporary and would be off soon. If he had signed for us, and been totally committed to us, we might have seen a different player. The one we saw was not good enough.

Doesn't try hard enough, the criticism of footballers from people with nothing real or credible to which they can resort.
