Guys having lived in Sydney for the last 5 years I have seen a new club born in Western Sydney Wanderers and in 3 seasons they have made two grand finals and on Sunday won Asia's equivalent of the Champions League which is unreal.
They are now off to the World Club Championship and a potential meeting with Real Madrid. All this under the leadership of Tony Popovic who for me would be a great fit for Reading one day. Popovic was at Crystal Palace only three years ago so knows the championship well.

This is my 3rd Season as a WSW season ticket holder. Really is a great story how Poppa has taken the club forward. They have only played 74 games and are already Asian Champions. It is not pretty football, but each player knows his job and gets on with it.
Poppa still has 2 years left on his contract. Pretty sure he will be named Asian Coach of the year.
I reckon he will be be back at Palace before too long.
