Pog for me. Overpaid underperformer, symptomatic of all that went wrong for us over the last three years.

Honourable mentions
Gunter - gutless defender who can't defend.
Akpan - little boy lost.
Federici - Nowhere near as good as he thinks.
Robson-Kanu - gone so far backwards I forgot we had him, despite him 'playing' regularly recently.

Excluding Drenthe in the hope reality shifts and he stops being ours if I ignore him.

A player who is frequently reported as being the first into training and the last one out everyday is, according to you Ian, someone who "nowhere near as good as he thinks"

Surely a player who believes they are better than they are would not bother with all that work and effort being at the training ground so long and would instead be the last in and first out.

Are you a mind reader Ian?

HRK has played 381 minutes this season,
That's just over 4 games worth.
Out of 17 games. As far as scape goats go, he's a poor candidate.

A lot of that 381 minutes he's done nothing productive, admittedly.
But he's very unlucky not to have at least 2 assists to his name:
It was his pass that Mackie blazed over from 1 yard out. And a delicious cross against Derby that Simon Cox headed just over from (would have put us 1-0 up iirc).

Fine margins; had two finishes been better, we'd be looking at 2 assists from 381 minutes, which is a very good return.

What about basing it on the bulk of 140 games over 7 or so years :?: :|

Yeah pretty much this to be honest. Didn't think it was that hard to grasp.

Current doesn't meant this season.

In what way would you say the Pog's underperformed?

I'd guesstimate that the 0 goals in the league this season is quite a large contributing factor.

Drenthe for me. Not because of anything off the field where I'm sure he is a credit to the club, but because he is rubbish when he steps on the pitch.

I expected 15 min last season and him to impress not look league 1 too.

Alex Pearce without a doubt.

Patting the badge is enough to please most Reading fans and by doing this he now 'bleeds blue and white'.

I don't like the chav one with the tattoos and the spectacularly inane Twitter account.

Oh wait, that's all of them.

Was this before or after his "Come and get me" plea to Liverpool?
