Jagermesiter1871
Baggie192 Evening, so how's he done this window? Whose been the most promising buy? (Early yet I know)

Our best buy this window is probably the sale of Pogrebnyak.

I think you could make a passable case that Adkins brought in our best new player for this season.

Good:
Shifted Akpan, Pog and Guthrie (plus Drenthe last window).
McShane

Promising:
Sa, Bond, Quinn, Taylor, Liburd

Unknown:
Alex, Hurtado, Semedo

Poor:
Al-Habsi

That's very good business. Possibly a midfielder too many, a winget too few and certainly a striker too few.

Hopefully some wins will follow at some point.

Stick Semedo in "unknown" and Liburd in promising.

Reckon the summer has been good for clearing the old squad mentality and bringing new players in and rejuvenating players such as Blackman and Norwood. Plenty of surprises as Ferdinand has come in to claim a shirt and Pav has moved with a season left on his contract.
A reliable goalscorer and goal keeper would be good, as current squad players have yet to show that they can be relied on to get and stop goals, which means points will slip through the team's grasp as recent matches have shown.

Paul Mcshane was class when played for us. Has he calmed down much? He used to get a shedload of bookimg that were unnecessary. It was a drawback as suspensions would kick in at awkward times. if he has though, he should mean finishing a coupl of placs higher in the table

Neither I would have thought.

Doubt we got a fee, but no reason to pay off his contract.
