Royalclapper re: Villa v WBA - Birmingham City v WBA was at 3pm on the Saturday when they recently played in the cup so not necessarily a security issue time.

Agree with it being about how the broadcasters decide to share it out between them.

From my m8s who support WBA - there's a much bigger rivalry with Villa than there is with Birmingham

Yeah, could be a factor if they're bigger rivals. Birmingham City do retain a sizeable contingent of head cases though which surprised me when they played WBA at 3...........Baggies took a 5k following as well.

Most are on bans / disinterested

Not brilliant in cup games with Bradford. Lost twice in the league cup in around 1987 and again in 1998 but jammed ourselves past them in the Simod in 1988. Can't recall any FA cup games against them.

Could play into our hands though. There will be a little bit of expectation on Bradford's shoulders now having beaten two Prem teams as massive underdogs.

The style of football we play is different too.

Can I add a late 'greed to the contention that Ian Royal and Craig Mortimer-Zhika are both idiots for contending that if we lose it will be alright as Parky will be going to Wembley

Definitely, can't see how you can take heart in losing out on a first FA Cup Semi-final in 88 years at the hands of a club legend.

Literally the most stupid thing I've ever read on the internet - countless mongs were also lapping this up on the club's facebook last night, many of them too young to have even seen Parkinson play for us

I enjoyed Gunts' reply on twitter, I'd like to think CMZ will be getting even more stick than usual around the stad today

I'd go so far as to say that his reply was the highlight of his Reading FC career to date

Especiall as Parky went to a cup final only 2 seasons back. Sod Parky, this is the best chance we may ever have of getting to a FA Cup Semi - sod that, best chance we may ever have of getting to the final. Does anyone seriously think that anyone at Bradford is thinking, well, if we lose it's OK, Parky's old club will be at Wembley instead?

I hope that that wet lettuce Gunter shows as much determination in the match itself as he does on social media :|

Joy at what is - lets be honest - the best draw we could have had [after Bradford (H)] is tempered by the realisation that we are absolutely 100% going to lose, aren't we. Our record in big one-off matches as a club is absolutely appalling. I fully expect someone like Akpan or Pogrebnyak to get set sent off and for Reading to lose 3-0. Already picturing James Hanson ghosting in between Pearce and Hector for a free header. How absolutely galling and how absolutely typical to have come this far and then to bottle it :!:

Maybe it would be better for your general outlook on life if you concentrated on being upset by things that have actually happened?
