Bandini I'm not going to suck him off .

I'm not sure anyone is suggesting you should, unless I've completely misunderstood this tribute?

Just one little aside.

Another person responsible for our failure......

If Pog wasn't so left footed and , possibly, selfish he could have slipped the ball to Mackie in the 85 minute and I'd bet my house he would have scored to take us to the final.

Just saying

Maybe Mackie should time his runs better on that instance and many others during the match.

Bandini I'm not going to castig8 him for the mistake, but I'm not going to suck him off and start chucking a load of shit stars on our flag for a fatfuck whose come and get me interview from a few years ago still rankles.

He's always been capable of top saves, but it's things like this which keeps him at our level.

Hopefully he's stopped boohooing by now.

IMO, the flag tribute is less about Federici than it is about the RFC Family.

Done right, Wednesday could do a lot to bring back the Reading way

"slipped the ball to Mackie" How? By looping it over the Arsenal player that was in the way?

Also people saying Mackie didnt make the right run, he kept half a pace onside throughout his run, if he'd run any faster he would have been offside.

If anything Pog needed to take it round or between the defenders.

That's just a snapshot.

From where I was standing he had time to pass and Mackie would have scored.

No doubt in my mind.

Plenty in mine, he doesn't strike me as a cool finisher, he could have easily blazed it over the bar or straight at the keeper but I guess we'll never know.

He could have passed it here but I'm not convinced he'd have collected it and scored before the defenders were on him

A split second later it wouldn't have worked..

Ideally, Pog needed to take it round to the left and then he'd have been through.

Well, for me, Pogs ears would have been on fire after that little incident.

He cost us there.

Feel for the guy but that performance summed him up as a keeper. He can make worldy saves, but he always has a mistake in him. They were all superb though and none deserve any stick for that performance. Twice through on goal and given off-side when we were onside. It just wasn't meant to be our day!

Some truth in this, but if he makes worldy saves as makes no mistakes in him, he wouldn't be at Reading. I think it's unlikely we'll get a better keeper than Feds, so I for one hope he signs with us again. Great keeper, very likeable man.

You can say that about a lot of keepers. Even top class ones.

There are two goalkeepers listed in the PFA Player of the Year poll* (Courtois & De Gea) - they've both been guilty of at least one outrageous error this season - doesn't make them anything less than top class.

It's the frequency of the major mistakes that makes the difference

* That must be a first, BTW - all the attacking PL talent and two keepers are listed

Reading the RFC facebook is funny.

"Je suis Federici"

TBF it's quite an obvious comparison to make - a goalkeeping error & a mass shooting. FFS you utter divs.

At this rate they might as well wheel him out into the middle before kick off & sing the Australian national anthem to him. Lets REALLY make him feel like a charity case / leper. I'm sure he can't wait.

Pog was through on goal twice - the screenshots above are the second one aren't they?
For me the 'worse' one was the other, Mackie ran across Pog instead of pulling the defender out wide, and cramped him for room instead of making space.

Yeah this Federici love-in has gone a bit far in my opinion.

He made a mistake, he got upset, we told him it's fine, let's just move on.

But no because we are trying to get our "identity" back let's all bring Aussie flags to the game on Wednesday.

Bluddy hell, we would have lost on penalties anyway.
