He didn't turn up to help your prediction thread, not sure why you think he'll bother with RG7ers.

I think HobNob and its terrible game coverage is directly responsible for tonight's non-win.

In the car park.

A frustrating evening. Looked to be a division or two between the teams most of the game, but somehow we're contrived to come away with only a point.

Just lacking a little cutting edge. Lots of sweet build-up play.

Would you say we're being affected by not having a consistent XI playing regularly? Lots of injuries keeping the side constantly changing slightly. Very little consistence in who's playing in attack and where in particular.

OK, I could be accused of living too much up to my avatar but in context this is still a point against a side building a revival under a new, enthusiastic Manager - a match which could have thrown the form book out of the window.

I wanted 7 points from these 3 games, beat Fulham and I'm happy.

Back in Chesterfield (so actually BFTG). Overall pleased with a point. We never win at Rotherham anyway! First half we bossed it, but didn't really create that much. Cracking goal by Blackman....especially as he made Camp look stupid. Rotherham sat very deep, but still had their moments, which should have warned us. 2nd half was a much more even game. Awful defending for their goal, but we created more when they actually started trying to play beyond their own box. I'm happy with a point. Certainly a better trip than in April!!!

We had the greater possession for the first time in a while and fail to win..... a bit of a warning that perhaps teams are starting to wise up to us. Let us have the ball and we overthink it, keep the ball and run the risk of us grabbing it and punishing you...

Still happy that we appear to be able to not lose games we would of done last year 8)

Thought a draw was a fair result. Great goal, both the ball from Norwood and superb finish by Blackman. Al Habsi had a very good game. A couple of good saves and looked solid with his catching.

Could tell Vydra was short on match practice, but would like to see him start instead of Piazon on Sat, who didn't really do much wrong, but just doesn't do enough to justify a start imo.

What happened tonight from a team defensive perspective ?
Prior to Rotherham from 11 league games the average shots / on-target was
Royals 15.5/5 Opponents 6.9/1.9

Tonight we had 17/6 so par for the course, Rotherham had 19/6 that's 3 times the average-ish and the highest numbers of any team so far this season ?

And I thought they were supposed to be pants

Have we been rumbled.........

Happy enough with the draw, looked like we might end up with nothing at one point. Their goal early in the second half probably did not help but we were a bit complacent at times - Gunter and Williams both made some poor short passes.

Piazon may not quite be up to the pace of the Championship but he can thread a pass, Hurtado was pretty much anonymous when he replaced him. I thought Vydra looked sharp enough and could have snatched a winner.

I agree Hector was definitely man of the match but Sa's theatrical rolling around was just embarassing :o
