One8Seven1* Ian, Charles wants your surname, pal! PM me or Tweet him.

Charlies on the other hand, is welcome to contact me if he wishes. Although he should bear in mind I've been at a beer festival all morning, and am slightly steaming. Not that that affects my view in the least.

So Kitson and Hammond clearly still talk and Kitson just comes out and says he went to WBA because we have zero to spend this summer.

These owners will be the death of this club. Clearly their intentions lie elsewhere.

I just fired this off on Lady Sasima's FB page.

Bitterly disappointed that you have sacked Brian McDermott. The football club need a steady hand and Brian WAS Reading FC - other managers come and go, but have no real link to the club. Brian was different. His best work was working with the youngsters or spotting very cheap youngsters who would go on to become great footballers. If you have no plans to spend more money on players for the forthcoming season, it is precisely these younger players that we will need to nurture. I feel the club have made a terrible mistake and not given Brian enough time. He should have, at least, had a full season in order to work with these players and try and prove himself. Sacking a manager after only 4 and a bit months is preposterous. I have been supporting Reading FC for 35 years, home and away, but I am not renewing my season ticket now. Such is my dismay.

Ian Royal - are you available to join me and Bendy at the car park for sandwiches and coffee and a "Down with all this" banner?

Relegation avoided by results when Brian was not manager. Worst team in the league at season's end.

Good. I think a few more people should contact her. I sent her a message once when they sacked Adkins, and suggested to be wary of just bringing in a name, but more important was someone who could actually improve us. She replied, "thank you for that advice, I will take that on board" and appointed Clarke!

Royal Lady Well I think they have treated him appallingly personally. They haven't given him a chance really and, if what is rumoured is true and we will have to rely on the younger players this season, Brian was the best person to get the best out of them. Brian was Reading through and through - his hands were clearly tied, he had players here on loan that he would not have signed and who didn't exactly light up the Championship, but yeah, let's sack him cos we gave him 4 and a bit months here. I presume if the next incumbent doesn't get us promoted, they'll be gone too then? More like, the Thais don't want to spend any money on the club, they are in it for the redevelopment and that's why they bought the club in the first place, remember none of them appear to have any idea about football - but they all have great business heads. If anyone was in any doubt that they bought this club for the land around it, I think it's all very clear now.

If you didn't renew in person, do distance selling regs apply?

If you didn't renew in person, do distance selling regs apply?

The Distance Selling Regulations state that your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and doesn’t end until seven working days from the day after you receive your goods.

This is the minimum consumers must be given and many sellers choose to exceed this, so always check the terms and conditions in case you have longer to return your items.

As this seven-day working period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, by law the seller can’t say that you must have returned the goods within this time frame.

Confirmation of your cancellation should be sent by email, letter or fax.

If you haven't received your ST then :?

Maybe the club should have appointed him on an interim basis or given him a contract to the end of the season instead, because clearly unless he worked miracles they had no intention of retaining him.

It seems whatever money there is available, they don't trust him to spend it. Whoever comes in needed to be given the summer.

There is no money for big signings. That's a certainty.
