Only if you worry about us going down. That isn’t going to happen. We’ll finish around where we are.

Reading now 16th in the table a mere 10 points above the bottom 3. Rotherham and Stoke still looking well dodgy so even if Huddersfield or Wigan suddenly hit promotion form, from out of nowhere, the chances of Reading being caught are likely still less than slim.

Tuesday games for teams below Reading:

Blackburn Rovers (7th) (DDDDW) v Blackpool (23rd) (LDDLW)
Norwich City (9th) (WLLWD) v Birmingham City (18th) (LLWWL)
Rotherham United (21st) (DDDLL) v Sunderland (5th) (WDWWD)
Swansea City (12th) (DLLWL) v Stoke City (19th) (WLDWL)

Colin immediately produces the new manager bounce for Huddersfield.

A new manager bounce for us now would be sufficient to secure safety and a lot less stressful than the Paul Ince bungee jump on a fraying cord.

Still 10 clear of the bottom three and 8 ahead of Rotherham. We need to beat Blackpool next Saturday and we really are then a matter of points from safety.

On the other hand, if we don't beat Blackpool we've got a return of 3 or 4 points from the easiest run of three games we'll have all season, and it's hard to see where many more points are coming from full stop.

We need to beat them and I'm not convinced we will. If Ince starts with a back five again and we lose then his position is looking very shaky.
He is a limited manager but for now I think he should stay. Beyond the summer I'm not sure.

He has to set us up positively next Saturday.

Beating a poor Birmingham side is a bit early to be singing Warnock's praises imo.

Just reminding myself what happened when we last played them.

I don't think they were that terrible at all; it means that Birmingham, Stoke and QPR are getting sucked into the worry zone.

They are extremely inconsistent. Great win in a derby v WBA ands then 2 defeats v relegation contenders.

We seem pretty capable of losing to anyone away from home.

For the purpose of us staying up, defeats for Huddersfield, Blackpool and Wigan would have been far preferable.

IMO.

Neil Critchley sacked by the Fakes, 5 points from last 10 games.

Not sure what's gone wrong there, did a decent job at Blackpool and QPR have some good players

I'd be more worried if Ince didn’t worry about relegation given our form and position.

Worry a lot, no probably not. But it's a possibility.
