Port Vale travel to P'Boro tonight. Do we feel confident enjoying to start supporting them yet? Would much rather Cheltenham and Burton went down.

A two goal defeat will put them back in the bottom 4 and the more teams there are in the deeper stuff the better so come on 'boro.

For selfish reasons, I want Cheltenham to survive. If they don't schedule it during the holidays again, I might actually make it to Whaddon Lane next year.

I think you are missing the point in West Yorks post.

Ftr, it’s too early for me, let them lose a couple then make a great escape

It's tough. I want Vale, Cambridge, us and Cheltenham to survive.

So I guess I want Shrewsbury to lose all their games and Vale probably need the points tonight to overtake them.

I think my order of preference for survival is:
Reading
Cambridge
Cheltenham
Port Vale

Peterborough are still not without a shout of autos yet, 2 games in hand, 8 points behind, they`ll really go for it tonight.

They won't get automatic promotion.

Really not the point of that message

I think Vale will survive given Cheltenham's last 3 games and Burton's awful form.

2-0 Posh. That game is done.

So win on Saturday and we're safe whatever the other results, save insane GD swings. If we win and Vale don't, it's mathematically certain.

Royals and Racers 2-0

The stats look incredibly one-sided. Seems very little chance Peterborough won't win this game now.

Yep, 2-0 down. This reduces our max target by a point if it stays like this.

With our goal difference port vale need to win 3 wins and a draw from their remaining 4 fixtures with us losing our final 3. It’s over lads we can go to the beach.

Full-time - so the max target is down to 4 (6).

Cheltenham play Burton on the 16th as well which pretty much ties things up as a win for either team pretty much means the losers cannot catch us or a draw screws them both up!! :D
I reckon we will win two of last three and we could end up lots of points safe :D :D :D

It'll be interesting watching this team play with all this pressure off there back's now!!

At the other end of the table, Derby blew it tonight and 2nd place is back in Bolton's hands. It's probably in our interests for the top 3 all to go up and leave a weaker division next season, but it would be oh so funny if we got back to the Championship because Derby.
