Could have got the Cambridge game called off then.

Given that all bar Ballard were available, then no we couldn't.

Thought that as the game had been moved to fall within the "weeks" either side of the main "weekend" set aside for internationals that any international players are automatically unavailable.

Thought you had to have 3 or more unavailable to call a game off.

Considering Elliott, Savage and CBC were all picked for the Cambridge game and Dorsett played for the U21s on Sunday, it's a bit of a stretch to claim they were unavailable

Nelson Abbey is in the England U20 squad for the games with Romania and Portugal.

Replaces Ruell Walters in the squad.

Goal and assist for Savage in his full Wales debut against Gibraltar.

Good performance by him, but bossing it against Gibraltar means nothing tbh.

Gibraltar about L1 level?

Haven’t watched them for years so don’t know

Anyway been thinking for a while that savage might at this stage of his career be better further forward, the middle 2 of Selles popular formation

Ie
Back 5
Wing Craig/Hutch
Savage Knibbs
Smith Ehib

Lots of competition for that spot though

Nah, his finishing is unconvincing and he doesn't really beat players.

Not necessarily a major issue. Didn’t have sone stat about creating the most chances in the division at one point, maybe still. That’s what you want from that position

Have a guess at who our top 3 key passers are per 90 minutes. I'll give you 5 goes and I bet you only get 1.

No idea, but why not

Vickers
Kelv
Carson
Hutch
Savage (but I expect not him or else you’d not have mentioned it)

Prob not that surprising tbf.

Azeez would be higher if he didn’t decide 80% of the time to smash it into row z instead of the obvious pass

I can see why Selles is persisting with Azeez.

3rd for key passes per game (1.1)
1st for assists (2)
2nd for shots per game (2.1)

Purely on the stats he's one of our most 'dangerous' players. Also why stats can be misleading.
