Jackson Corner Don’t want to say I told you so but I said we should have got Rowet as manager. Anyone who can make Cooper look a good player must be good.
The internet is so knee-jerk, oxf*rd hell

sandman "No chance of the play offs". So let's concentrate on a cup competition we also have no chance of winning.

Barney After 11 league games this season we had 8 points.
16 league games later, and 28 points better off, no one is talking about relegation. In addition, we have a decent chance of making the last 16 of the FA Cup.
This is turning out to be a much better season than it felt back in October.

Hound Even if we lose at Forest we still need to really press on in the league
Win 5 in a row again and suddenly your a point or two off again - but it’s more about just build momentum and try to get top 10 - get the club looking up again

The problem is the run of fixtures from now until late February makes it hard to put together another run. A different matter from late Feb onwards but by then we may well be a long way adrift of sixth..

If we lose on Wednesday, we’re 8 points off the playoffs with 9 teams ahead of us who aren’t even in the playoffs themselves
Would never say no chance but very unlikely in this scenario. Whereas you never know with the cup. Hypothetically, we could win against Cardiff and get the winner of Portsmouth/Barnsley for example. Then if you win that, you’re one game off Wembley
Of course, a result at Forest would change the mindset

Zip The problem is we don’t have any easier fixtures coming up to bounce back.
