bcubed We’re deliberately trying for deflected goals now

Well there's no one really to cross to so the spectacular and deflected are the main options.

We're finishing the half strong. Can we keep that going for another 45?

What we are doing is niggling away at them in midfield to slow them down. I like that a lot.

Barney I really really hate Norwich with a passion. Horrible dreadful place and team. Just horrendous. Hate them.

Any particular reason? always been a fairly neutral feeling towards them from me.

Fair question fella. I guess I have always thought that Norwich 'get the decisions'. And I have bumped into a few Norwich fans in town
after games and they are a little bit "we are considerably better than you" types. Maybe I just chatted to their muppets, rather than decent fans.

And don't me started on Pukki

surely theres a better youth option to fill the striker berth than defensive midfielder Semedo?

Farke creeps me out. He looks like Billy Ray Cyrus and I'm not sure I'd leave him alone with my kids.

Only thing I like about Norwich is him. Like failed German rockstar.. Love his voice as well.

Excellent effort despite some quite poor errors.

Pauno's pulled something out the hat there... the front four working pretty well and being well supported.

Pros

Laurent & Rafael playing really well so far and Reading got better as the game went on

Cons

Norwich are superbly good going forward and Pukki should be in the book (at least twice)

Last 15 we really did push them into the errors they were forcing us into.
Really good first half. Second is gonna be tougher.......

Fairly happy at ht- got better as we went. They do look dangerous up front whereas we don’t though

Agree MM not having a great game. Holmes, Rafa, Laurent, Rino except the horror pass, Gibson all doing well though

This system is working pretty well.

Just worried about the ease that they are getting down their right and two crosses could have ended up as goals but for superb Rafael saves.

Gibson and Ejaria isn’t a strong defensive combination.
But without bringing someone on there aren’t any stronger options on the pitch.

Impressed since our goal. Seemed confident.

Sutekh Note there’s no Southwood on the bench - another injury ?

Why not. Join the army of 'sick notes' we have at our club. Incredible.

Pauno rotates his bench keepers - Walker v Birmingham, Southwood v QPR.

Doing well considering the injuries, but lack of a striker shining through unfortunately. Just need to tighten up, some very sloppy passes, and Morrison needs to stay closer to Pukki in the box, hasn’t been close enough for either of his efforts.

Cumulative poor behaviour seems to be the general consensus.
