WestYorksRoyal If we make the playoffs, Brentford are the team I fear the most and are the best team on their day. Swansea are really nothing special and I'd back us to beat them with a full strength team.

Quite a bold statement considering we`ve not beaten the Swans in 14 meetings since 2008. (D6 L8)

This, and the fact they have the most clean sheets this season.
We're second.
Norwich are 3rd.

Crazy really. We've kept 16 clean sheets. Means we have let in 37 goals in the other 19.
So, if you score past us, you are likely to get 2 but getting the first is pretty hard to do.

That seems... unusual... but it's been commented on a few times how often we let in goals in quick succession to lose all chance of turning a game around.

URZZZZZZZZ Not sure if this is necessarily the correct thread to raise this, but does anyone actually genuinely think we’ll be promoted this season?
This may be to do with not going to games, but personally I’m finding it really hard to get excited and just can’t see us going up.

If nothing else. We haven't had the basis of a solid team in many years. Another summer clear out will help enormously. With little money in the game. The strength of the academy is going to be key over the next couple of seasons. .

It's skewed by that run of games between Coventry and Bournemouth. Was it 14 conceded in 4? So strip them out and it's 23 in 15.

Yes and no.
Apart from the Wycombe debacle, every league game we have lost has seen us concede at least 2.
1-0 x 1
2-0 x 1
2-1 x 3
3-0 x 2
3-1 x 2 (both to Brentford)
3-2 x 1
4-2 x 1
So 28 of the 37 goals conceded came in those 11 defeats. In the other 24 games we were took a point or more, we have conceded just 9.
To me that shows, we have an incredibly good defence who when, they happen to have an off day, really have an off day.

Isn't it? Can only be a confidence thing or the way we are set up, which is to keep it tight and use the skills of the forwards to nick a goal or two. Feels like we don't quite have the game plan for getting back into a game when we slip behind and panic a little bit, when as shown at Huddersfield, just keep doing the same thing, chances will come.
Unless I am missing one, outside of those games, we have only conceded twice in one more game this season, the 4-2 at Blackburn.
Breakdown (goals conceded)
16 x 0 goals
8 x 1
5 x 2
5 x 3
1 x 4
