Notts Royal
alfie9 I said last month that I don't give a sh1t if we sell anyone this summer aside from McIntyre and I meant it. They can all ffuckk off as far as I'm concerned. Coaching staff as well.

Holmes? Rino? Laurent? Meite?

All of them are alright but my apathy is at an all time high with this team

It will be very difficult to stay in the play off positions now that our top goal scorer has forgotten how to play football

Pepe the Horseman On a positive note, thought Moore was immense.

Zip
Snowflake Royal Back in top six. 1 defeat in seven. First time we've held on when pegged back. One more (tough) game down.

I'll take it, should have won but it'll do for now.

Barnsley have been on a great run, could revert to mean a bit and the pressure is all different to stay there than get there. Bournemouth have to get something from their game in hand and keep those points coming in

3 points from our last 4 games Ian.

Shrug.

My pint is half full.

He forgot a while ago tbf.

Him not scoring will not cost us, but Paunovic insisting on playing him 24/7 will.

St Pauli Shocking miss from Joao, but he did set up the goal.

How?

My mistake, thought it was him that played Ejaria in, not Rinomhota

2 silly mistakes cost us the game. Played pretty well and stood up to their physicality

Massively frustrating to not win it really. Didn’t think a huge amount of Barnsley. Got a game plan and stick to it, but big lack of quality

Share the general feel over Goodmans nonsense - there was about 3 fouls and a handball leading up to that disallowed goal

It’s even worse than Steve stone all those years ago. 19 free kicks to 6 they are a dirty team tactical fouls long balls.
Just a horrible side.

Still wasn't as bad as Sir Les missing from a yard on his home debut years ago.

Barnsley would never stay up in the Prem playing this way, obviously would be an outstanding achievement with their resources but there's too much skill in the prem and everyone is so much fitter, they'd just get passed around their press and they'd wear themselves out chasing shadows.

Not that I'm particularly convinced we'd do much better either, our game plan seems to revolve around Joao playing well, we don't seem to have anything else.

Indifferent performance today sums up the season. Over reliance on Joao and Meite for goals. No Swift no creativity.

Roll on next season.

That Liam Moore interview, he hid it well but you could see he was fuming. love to know what is being said in the dressing room.

Zip Joao has to be dropped.

We tend to agree but I just can't agree with this.

He was great except for the miss, and adds SO much more to our play, pretty much defines our whole gameplan. Which game was it recently when he was taken off and all of a sudden we were toothless? He and Ejaria draw so many defenders in opening up the game for others.

Take off penalties, yes, but it's just reactionary to say he should be dropped just for missing a sitter.

Some could argue Joao`s goals have got us into the position we are in now, but he is now doing everything to undo all that good work, 3 penalty misses, sulking a bad miss against QPR and that one tonight will be replayed for years to come, I must have watched it a dozen times and still can`t believe it happened.

Far too much pissing the bed on here.

Wherever we finish, it will still be in our top 15 league finishes ever and as for whoever said they've never seen the ball in the air so much, you clearly weren't around in the 80's.

This is the best side we've had for nearly a decade.
