CountryRoyal
tidus_mi2 We got a point in the end, doesn't feel like enough but If Barnsley and/or Bournemouth lose tomorrow that point could be vital

It’s not enough. 4 games to go including matches against Norwich and Swansea and we could be 7 points adrift by the time Barnsley/Bournemouth play.

Must win game.
Did not win.
Season over.

Tell that to Swansea last season, it's not over until it's mathematically impossible.

Swansea had the luck of playing us.

Shame we can’t play ourselves

Anyone that wants Pauno out after the best season since Wembley need their heads looking at. we were ok in the second half but not enough quality up top.

Hound Yeah it’s over

Not a bad display in many ways but really lacking in the final third. Not sure what the answer is there really

Pleased we didn’t lose. The triple subs all did really well at the end - Pauno should have trusted them more the past couple of months. Couple of great crosses in

Anyway on to next season

Literally no pressure now. Just go out and enjoy. Try and win 4 football matches and see where we are. First target, get to 70 points in the week. Another 5-0 would be nice.

My evening won’t be complete though until Ian comes on and says we’re all bedwetters for being annoyed we’ve missed out after spending all but one or two weeks in the top 6.

We have Huddersfield last. Barnsley have Norwich. If we can just somehow be 3 points off them....

Yeah, I know.

Anyway we're all Norwich, Millwall & Brentford fans this week aren't we?

Something about us just too predictable - Cardiff defended well but we just don’t seem to have enough options - yiadom and Richards really didn’t offer too much going forward - and we need them to in this system

As mentioned - putting Aluko and baldock on out wide and we suddenly looked more dangerous

Nah I don’t think you can just blankly say that.

A good season isn’t necessarily just because of the players or the manager and neither is a bad season.

I think we’ve done well this season in spite of Pauno and not because of him.

That's the issue. We don't have the options to effectively change shape, though the last 5 mins may shoot that view down.

No idea how this squad looks next year but VP has earned the chance to shape it.

Summed the season's performances perfectly, had pretty much all the features

Starting shockingly poorly
Passing around the back uselessly
Joao injury changing screwing things up
Must win - didn't
Meite heroics
Shite crosses
Pauno totally out of ideas
Baldock toothless again

No surprises at all.

We've been generally shite since the honeymoon period and getting shitter game by game.

Overpaid losers, some of whom don't want to be here. oxf*rd it.

That was the first bit of quality in the game. Sadly to little to late. Mietie has been great since his return.

LOL at people who think we need a manager change again.
It's been a good season and at least we have had a bit of a challenge.
Injuries ruined us. Just watching Swift put one of two balls over the top proves we could have damaged teams like Barnsley and how we have missed him.
Hopefully finish 7th......which is way above where most predicted.

That horrendous Joao miss against Barnsley looks like it could be the pivotal moment of the season.

I didn't think it was a pen, Moore got to the ball first and Richards seem to make no or little contact at all and Moore was already diving forward.

Good to get it back but still feel cheated

Mate, Baldock was on for 5 mins and put in probably the cross of the match for the equaliser, just a tad harsh.
