We need to play Swansea twice more this season, is there any point?

It went back on sadly.

My point still stands, they do an abysmal job of keeping the listener interested and engaged.

tidus_mi2 Okay I'm done listening, what exactly does letting our youngsters get dicked by a far superior Swansea side offer them? Need a good performance on Saturday.

It's probably more about avoiding injuries

Yeah because it’s going to be under the exact same circumstances for the next 2 games.

This is quite pathetic. A thumping tonight. Loss last Saturday. Dreadful end of last season. No new players. Shed loads of players departed. Not able to bring quality in.

These are bad times. I don't care what anyone says, these are tough bad times.

Where is Ejaria ? still injured ? Puscas showing he cba. Meite out for the season.

I wonder what the season ticket sales have been ?

Fair play to those with the rose-tinted specs....but be prepared for a long nasty season.

Oh yeah, I’m not arguing that. Avoid listening to them as much as I can. Fortunately being based in London, I can’t get it here.

What`s our excuse for the previous 15 games against them?

They’ve had better players than us? What makes a game 15 games ago relevant to today? Nothing.

You're a lucky man.

They actually do a lot to drive up negativity amongst the supporters imo.

We should just have all 11 players sit on our 18 yard box, let them have their 95% possession and play for the nil nil.

The most important but about tonight is coming up and that is the interview with VP given the rumours today. Are we able to start signing players or not?

Yeah no doubt in my mind at all. Ends up being a bit of an echo chamber with negative callers as well.

Certainly has an influence on feelings of others towards previous managers and players.

andrew1957 I fully expect Swansea reserves to beat our U23 team quite comfortably and so I have decided not to go tonight.

Hope I am wrong and that we can progress but in truth I think it will be over by half time. We shall see.

Think my pre match summary was pretty much spot on. Shame for the young lads who have done their best tonight and I hope that this does not damage their confidence.

Bit dispiriting as a result and feeling the need to put out such a ridiculously inexperienced side.

Definitely a bit of a message to the EFL in their cup competition but does a feel a bit of a low point

Hopefully the first 11 are all fit for Saturday with a couple of squad players on the way. Can’t have been much fun to watch or be a part of

Since we beat Colchester last season, we`ve played 3 cup games and put out teams of U23s in each, anybody that went tonight should have known what to expect.

Why the meltdown from some fans about this game. We fielded a team of mostly kids and they weren’t good enough to beat Swansea. It’s hardly a surprise and this result will have no bearing of where we finish in the championship this season. It was a bit like having a no handed wnak. You can hope for the best but nothing will cum of it.

That is the weirdest analogy I’ve ever heard.
