Franconian Royal So I’ve got a couple of complaints, mainly about the officials. I watched the game on the TV from about mid way through the first half.

How on Earth was O’Hare still on the pitch???? I counted about 4-5 times he fouled someone or did something cynical. Why did it take till late in the 2nd half to book him???

8 mins was very generous!!!! Even after booking the assistant manager, but still!!!!

And swift needed to just play the corner short. I get he wanted to try get a smash and grab win, but a little game management.

Defence needs sorting. Moore and Morro out, get Holmes in, put McIntyre in at LCB. Yiadom in at LB, Holmes at RB. Get rid of the zonal marking as well.

That’s all from me.

I didn't know we had 2 players called Holmes

I think it’s clear what I meant Jimmy

It’s really not. You’re dropping Moore and Morrison, playing Holmes at right back and Yiadom at left back - who are the centre backs? McIntyre and…?

Too much space between our centre-backs and full backs, and between the back four and the midfield. It was way too easy for the Coventry players to run at us from midfield, and get players facing up our defenders inside our box.

Good point….. ok ok, I made a big mistake: drop Moore, T Holmes in and Morrison stays, but it’s last chance saloon for Morro

Simmops We are down. We are an awful side and even Derby are doing better then us ffs.

Shut up you bed wetter.

So you really think a draw against cov is an acceptable result?

When we are in bottom 3 and you're pissing your knickers at the end of the season I want an apology

Oh shit I've been out and haven't read anything or seen anything. We oxf*rd lost  thought we drew

Absolute pathetic. And people say I'm wetting the bed when I say we will go down. I'm going to say this every week and I guarantee more people will agree.

Pauno OUT!

Snowflake Royal Cabral - 7 some good saves
Yiadom - 4 bit of a shambles, poor defending and passing
McIntyre - 6 OK
Morrison - 8 won a lot
Moore - 4 shambles
Rinomhota - 7 some really good defensive work
Laurent - 5 loose passing, pushed off the ball a lot, stopped doing much defensive work
Dele-Bashiru - 8 high tempo, quick, strong
Azeez - 7 not his best, but decent game
Swift - 8 some quite loose passing and turning into trouble but a lot of good and a goal to go with
Puscas - 7 worked really hard and did a lot of good, set up the goal

Hoilett - 5 started well, ended badly - fit to play 10 mins!?
Holmes - 6 did his job for the most part
Clarke - n/a didn't get many touches, we were barely in the game

Thoroughly deserved to lose, by far the weaker side, yet should still have at least drawn and could have won. This side simply cannot see out a result.

We've lost 3 out of 4 but we've led 4 times and equalised twice in them. Poor

There are some quite high ratings you have given there.I hope you are right given that we were swamped.

It doesn't matter whether there was one minute of added time or ten, they are supposed to be professional footballers and should play and as on this occasion defend till the final whistle. They deserve fcuk all, shambolic.

So we lost in the 98th minute of 5 mins added, how the oxf*rd does that compute. 3 extra minutes in 5?

Yes there's one at the end of that sentence... a question mark.

If you were trying to score a grammar point on my post, you meant capital letters for the start of a sentence. HTH

Franconian, I'm sorry. We're all a bit miffed right now and I'm a little too used to clowns having a pop and firing right back.
I saw you'd already put your hand up to the CB thing and went to delete my post but someone had already posted something else.

I take my donkey with regret, and add I'm a donut.

Apologies

You can accept losing three out of four and a bad start to the season;however at this stage there seems to be nothing coming down the pipeline to give one hope that we can turn it round.Meite is out for the season, and Joao is out until the New Year. The Ejaria Covid situation is a bit bizarre.First we are told he has a slight injury and is all but ready, and then we are suddenly told he has/had Covid. If he has long Covid he could be out for ages. The worst moment on Tuesday and today, was the requirement to bring on a 17 year old striker in an attempt to impact events. We really are scraping the barrel.
Short of Moore and Puscas suddenly finding form, and we get in an outstanding LB and striker next week we are basically screwed.
But it’s the hope that kills you.

Taking any positives we can get, at least we were on earlier than usual on Quest tonight.

Oh, and the ref gave Pauno a card on his birthday
