Royal_jimmy Is it time we thought about another protest?

To bin off the clueless owner we have. I'm sure someone out there even with less money would buy us. They surely can't do any worse.

No thank you.

Forget about protests they’re pointless.

You need to raise the awareness and get it in the public domain.

We need to glue ourselves to the entrance of the training ground. Hire a plane with a dai out banner and fly it around.

Glue ourselves to the roads around Reading. Caversham and Reading bridges.

Jump on the centre court on opening day at Wimbledon and throw around blue and white power paint on the court. The person/s will need to be topless with dai out painted on their bodies

What have you done Jimmy? Could you maybe give us a brief history of all of the action you have taken and inspire us all?

He offered to buy the club for £1 but take on the £21m of debt.

Don't think that kind of offer will tempt the current owner, since we allegedly have a significantly higher level of debt.

I rang the ticket office this morning who advised that, in the circumstances, they will offer a refund on any season ticket purchase for supporters who request this.

Two thoughts on this, firstly, I think that is an extremely worrying straw in the wind and am now genuinely concerned about the club's future existence. Secondly, if we have any faith in the owners wishing to continue it as a going concern, a mass refund request would make them sit up and take notice more than any protest banners.

So what are you going to do then? did you ask for a refund?

Whilst I get the wish to gave an impact, taking more money out of the club now seems counter productive as unlikely to have a quick positive impact.

STs are normally non-refundable, but due to current circumstances they are offering refunds.

No, but i'm not sure what to do. On the one hand, I've supported the club for 50 years and don'y want to walk away from it in its hour of need, on the other, a sharp boycott may produce the desired result.

My thought was that they would definitely say no and I was going to small claims court them as I thought a court case might drum up some much needed media attention, particularly if lots did the same
