Winston Biscuit I am always up for an extra serving of LOLZ

Welcome Paul Ince!

Well the only enjoyable thing about the clubs plight has been the Gallows Humor. Ince about to take that to new levels.

Everyone just chill out. It’s interim. Give the bloke a chance. Let him get that win before warnock is appointed

I`m actually laughing at some of the comments both here and mostly on social media, I`m sure if people google the word `interim` they may calm down a bit.

Only Reading FC could replace an absolute crap manager with an even worse one .

I am not sure it makes much difference who we appoint this season. Think the players wanted Pano gone for whatever reason and suspect we will see a lot more application from them for the last 14 games. Survival is the only target. But I hope we will make a well thought out long term appointment in the summer.

But there were so many better options out there. Warnock is available , and I’d rather take Roy Keane over Ince who has outright failed at management . Then there me Brian McDermott , would take him back in a shot. To be honest I’d take a dream team if Jimmy Quinn and Mick Gooding over Ince.

Pathetic appointment and confirms Relegation.

Maybe you could buy a football club then you can have your first choice of manager

So your suggestion is for anyone who is annoyed at us appointing an abject failure as manager to buy there own club .

Is that you Dai?

Indeed you are correct sir, however, does the word interim come with a timescale? I would like to think a week or two, in which case it could be a "Warnock" or "Monk" style manager, or is it till the end of season and then maybe a more long term style manager such as "Ainsworth".

A short term specialist manager should be as mentioned above and probably British, and not on Kia's radar.....or if its an appointment at the end of the season then i'm sure Kia will be involved and it'll be some unkown from "Turkmenistan"

That's if Turkmenistan hasn't been flattened by Russia or Nato by then :D

Yeah I think people do have to understand that this is strictly an interim appointment. If they do well and they keep us up, great, shake hands and say job well done. If not, we will appoint a permanent manager.

I think it would make more sense to appoint a permanent manager this season anyway rather than the summer. With so many players out of contract in the summer, it is the perfect chance for any manager to say who they want to keep and who they don't in the summer and it gives an incentive to the players to earn themselves a contract here as well.

No manager is universally popular. We all wanted and needed a change, we got one. Not the most exciting appointment I’d rather a warnock etc but it is what it is it hopefully will give us enough of a bounce to get over the line. Then hope we can sort things to a degree in summer

You can call me Dai if you wish

Literally all he needs to do is drill the defence and midfield into making marginally better decisions for clearing their lines, be marginally more organised, and leave two up for corners.

There's some decent players here. Get them motivated again, drop that zonal bollocks, and we'll see an instant improvement.

What helps Ince greatly is we're unbeaten in two now, and have taken four points from six which must have given us a huge lift. And those players who were so disillusioned with Paunovic can now stop sulking and get their arses back in gear!

..and for us, we have largely and finally got a first team line up to start from…
The ‘bounce-back’ is already on
