Step One: Interview - say the right things and show you know what the problems are.

Big Tick. He's absolutely nailed it. Good going forward. Awful at the back. Shut the back door and we'll be fine. Setting expectations.

Step Two: Don't lose confidence in the next couple of games before you can implement improvements.

Step Three: Make those changes - corners, organisation etc - cut down the goals conceded, get some clean sheets, WNG

Really like that. Particularly like how open and relaxed he is. Talks very naturally and articulately.

I think he will be a great help to our out of form players. He's to the point and doesn't talk in riddles like Paunovic did. Sounds like he's going to focus on getting the basics right to start with which is exactly what we need.

morganb Fun facts:

Even though his nickname at school was Incey Wincey, Paul is actually terrified of spiders

Unlike Pauno, Paul does not live in Kettering

Paul is aware that Peterborough went down to 10 men on Saturday

Incey Wincey Manager
Climbed up the Championship
After one defeat
HNA called to wash him out
few more wins dried up such claims
And Incey Wincey Manager took us up again

Ince was a top, top player and leader of men on a football field; who won everything and was persuaded to leave MK Dons to chase the dream of Prem. management at the then basket case Club Blackburn after he had performed miracles at Macclesfield and MK Dons.

He has always been courageous and he has always been a winner.

And he does not take shit from those who may not be committed.

I am looking forward to the new adventure which is the rest of our season.

And I certainly wasn’t before I heard the news of him joining us.

Just checking some oppo forums, want us to thrash Blackpool with how dismissive they're being after the Ince hiring.

Have been listening to him for a while on United Stand...he does a Thursday morning show on there

Will have a quick look through and see if there is much said about management. I know he's mentioned it

He hasn’t nailed anything. It takes a matter of seconds to check the goals against column to realise we concede far too many. He is stating the bleeding obvious.

This was my take as well but we’ll have to see. Anyone can say we need to stop conceding goals. It’s making that happen.

Honestly don’t remember many occasions where someone in an interview didn’t leave a good first impression. Let’s see how he reacts when he’s held accountable for his own mistakes.
