If that's Jeunvier at CB, it's only a few minutes but he looks decent.

Think Hutchinson is looking ok if a bit isolated.

He's playing alongside Hutchinson. Ince behind Joao

We're certainly not pulling out of tackles

Hmmm. Thanks. Would prefer him at ten over Ince.

Out of interest anyone know how decent the Benfica side is, I presume it’s not a full first XI?

It actually looks to really suit him. He is a very good tacker and interceptor of the ball and can keep it in tight spaces. Doesn't have time to dawdle on it now either.

If that’s the Cardiff winger, he cost them about £10m a few years ago.

Lumley’s comfortable on the ball. Distribution looks good.

Finding it quite hard to recognise people (video is quite compressed at my end) but impressed with Yiadom and Ejaria. Trialist centre back probably the big disappointment, can even hear our coaches telling McIntyre he needs to cover for him.

Not sure why we’re going after Murphy - good player but plays in the position we least need extra bodies in!

Agree on Lumley - looks good on the ball.

Benfica have the better of it and should have scored at least once, but they don’t look like a Champions League side - presumably this is a second string side.

Not my favourite but a really good first half from Ovie. Disappointed that BOO won’t be playing given we have no left backs. There must be a good reason I guess.

So...

Lumley - solid, but made me nervous in possession, probably more about the style than him, though a couple of risky passes. Made his saves, but they were a little flappier than I'd have liked.

Jeunvier - getting a lot of talking to from the bench. A little mixed. Got caught roaming and also gave away a simple pass in danger after I praised him early on. Seemed to have good anticipation otherwise.

Hutchinson - not convinced he has the legs to play DM in Chump, but he's the sort of honest water carrier I like.

Murphy - quick, but didn't see a lot else in his 10 mins.

Slick going forward but no end product. A bit vulnerable at the back, but held out. So not a vast change from normal.

Oh, and Ejaria seemed to play a higher tempo and release quicker. If he plays deeper, that will excuse his lack of end product I guess. :D
