I'm not sure if it's because I'm increasingly apathetic about Reading but I have literally never heard of 3 players in our starting XI, I don't think that's ever happened before.

yes, it’s early doors (no pun intended) and I’d love to see our scratch youth team get as many games as they can within the contest.

30 minutes in, no shots and no corners, the crowd must be very small.

This is why I didn’t bother going complete waste of time outclassed by a div 2 team humiliating embarrassing pathetic why even bother playing the game just give it to them.

I don’t care. It is a very young side. Besides the game isn’t over yet.

Dellor, Gooding and Ady all moaning for 10 minutes about how dull the game is. You're paid to do something a lot of supporters would love to do. Shut the fcuk up and be entertaining then.

Not much different from most league games over the last year or so then.

I remember going to Peterborough when Adkins made 11 changes we lost 6-0 has to be one of the worst ever Reading performances. Never been to a league cup tie since.

It’s been ok. The young lads have struggled a bit tbh. Been bullied off it at times. All look tidy enough but wouldn’t say any are ‘ready’ for the champ on that showing

Ehibhatiomhan showed some nice touches and definitely has the attributes. Clarke and Leavy struggled to keep the ball

Goal was a poor one to concede but not much goal action otherwise. Loum definitely the highlight so far
