And don't forget United as the home team set the match ticket prices so we'll probably get charged £40 just like Everton did on Friday

Would have preferred someone else to Man Utd but at least we'll make some decent cash from it. Will help the club. It's a winnable game too, albeit Manchester United have improved this season.

Hound
genome Last time the story was about Stam, now it's Ince

Doubt ince will allow anything as lame as that effort was

Or talk up Hendrick as the next Xavi.

Competition Proper
Immediately after the draw is known, the Club playing at home shall decide on all prices
of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than
concessions.
Where the away Club’s spectators are permitted to attend, they can only be charged
more than the home Club’s spectators if mutually agreed by both Clubs.

Sutekh
Hound Would have liked that at home but not really away again

Anyway fee quid for the coffers and Ince will be happy

Straight 50/50 split of the gate isn’t it?

So Reading will get at least £1.25m for this tie. Unexpected revenue presumably arriving in the club accounts by the end of the month? Won’t make any difference to the FL’s ffp restrictions of course but certainly welcome enough for the summer window.

Sutekh And the winner is…..

…. Away to Man U so at least we can watch the defeat on the telly while coining the cash

Millsy Ince is Mystic Meg and I claim my £5.

When thinking of the draw yesterday I thought of that exact tie
Didn't realise Ince had mentioned it yesterday.

Yeah plus the undoubted tele money.

It’s all useful money and why it was well worth putting out a team to beat Watford yesterday

I think the split is of the ‘profit’ rather than the actual takings. So the home club can take the cost of staging the game before splitting the remainder.

The 16th time since 1912 Reading have played United in the cup. Does that make them the side we have played more than any other in the cup?

Big loss if he doesn't sign. Irreplaceable at this point of the season.

As far as the United game goes, I just hope we give them a game and a few scare rather than the Stamball shite we witnessed there last time.

Current FA regulations state 15% of capacity up to a maximum of 9,000.

This is excellent news for the club. By far the biggest receipt we could have got from the draw.

15% is over 11.000. i would expect an initial allocation of around 6,000, and then more if we need them
