Millsy Brilliant by Lumley just now.

Awful earlier on by Meite, should have really put it away.

Very good from Lumley. Harsh on Meite, coming over his shoulder on the run. Sort of thing you saw Bergkamp slam away, but Meite is hardly that standard.

Yeah I guess I overrate Meite. He's produced some pretty impressive finishes in his time.

I'm trying to think of a Reading outfield player who hasn't made some poor mistakes already... and I'm struggling.

Meite up against a fullback creates something.

He's a right forward, not a striker.

Brilliant by Meite, awesome on the right.

Really don't want to lose him if possible.

When your manager says the squad isnt strong and basically not very good, I wonder if confidence gets knocked in some of these players.
We have missed so many chances this season...chances alone are rare.....that then when your manager comes out and starts finger pointing it's not good.

From Despair To Where?
Orion1871 I see the Twatter Twits have decided on Andy Carroll being the scapegoat this week.

On the plus side, it looks like half of them who were planning a tantrum (sorry, protest) at the game are unable to get there due to flooding on the trains.

Did they all wet themselves at Didcot Parkway?

No at Bath Spa actually.

There's a lot of talk of how bad our defence is. But midfield is terrible. Every team just walks through them. They can't keep the ball. They can't create chances.

lolz @ lino - would love to see proper replay but from what I've seen Meite was several parsecs offside.

Hardly surprising when you play a back 5

There's something inevitable about losing away from home.

Thanks Sarr for not being able to clear a ball that slowly rolls towards and touches your boot.

Bloody awful.

Looks like Meite was trying to time his run and possibly near the halfway line.

Not that it matters.

Bloody awful.

They've been exploiting Sarr's complete inability to cover behind NGW all game.

Watch him and you'll see he's regularly a yard behind the defensive line and playing the opposition onside too. He's a poor quality defender.

We aren't very good at clearing our lines. Especially for a team that punts the ball forward at every opportunity.
