Mid Sussex Royal All a bit doom and gloom all this...has something been posted that the wages aren't being paid on Friday?

The HMRC thing has happened 3 out of the last 4 months so hardly new...

Witcoop at the Mirror posted something suggesting the players had been told not to expect a full pay check on Friday but then local boy Earnshaw said that was essentially bollocks - so god knows what will happen on Friday.

Tbf, that Witcoop has had an abysmal hit rate with things relating to Reading FC this summer. Would take anything he says with a massive shovel worth of salt.

Oh yeah, whoever his source is at Reading has certainly passed him some absolute crap this summer.

Yeh is there some other forum they've set up or something? Is there really noone on here that's part of it?

Only 2 days to find out…

Brum Royal Given the trouble Pompey have been through in the past is it not worth reaching out to them to see if they would be interested to join the march before the game?

There we go, a great idea. We are getting somewhere.

Should have been thought of and organised ages ago imo.

Off you pop and organise that then. I'm sure there are hordes of supporters who feel shut out by the SbwD gang, that would be thrilled to join you.

This doesn't really help with the perception that if you're not directly part of SBWD then your opinion is meaningless.

"Here's a suggestion!"
"Fcuk off and do it yourself then."

If the staff aren’t paid on Friday, I’d be up for going on the pitch after 16 minutes to help carry off one of the goal posts.

genome No-one outside of Reading gives a toss do they? There was more fuss about Bury.

Don't think many in Reading give a toss either.

I'm not involved in SBWD. They may or may not take this suggestion on board, that's got nothing to do with me.

But clearly OMA wouldn't join in if they did organise it, because he says he won't have anything to do with them, as there wasn't a specific invite to each and every HNA poster on day one. So, surely he needs to organise it himself, with all the others he claims have been excluded by SBWD's unbelievable awfulness.

Naturally it's considerably easier just to moan all day instead though.

This is an excellent idea from Brum Royal and one I'm feeding in fwiw - planning is underway, but suggestions are very welcomed.

I doubt they'll be interested because we sang a couple of songs at them over 10 years ago.

It's already had national media interest and there's no real sign of us disappearing yet.

Much as MP involvement is good, the EFL won't stop points deductions because of political pressure when they have guidelines for penalties and they hammered Wigan for non payment. Should be focusing on changing regulations, not bending the rules for Reading.

Well, there's a point in there about getting the shadow regulator set up as well as using us as a test case. Having that happen, see if it really has teeth before full implementation/give opportunity to refine, would be pretty huge in that space if it does happen.
