NathStPaul Oh lord.

Lets be real, we all knew it would end up going this way. Soft.

All efforts should have been put into the first league game of the season, doing things at PSF's have little or no impact.

I'm sure the 13 out 37 participating attendees will feel like their message has got across to the completely absent club ownership.

Only way this will even get any attention is if 1000 fans go and everyone chucks socks. We usually take a few hundred to friendlies so this will not do much

Socks? Seriously ... Socks?

I had thought, despite all of my initial doubts that this fan group was getting real traction and something serious may be planned.

But this is just unbelievably weak and pathetic. It's childish, immature, weak and spineless.

I can just see it, 500 fans, half in replica shirts all throwing socks on the pitch as bemused players kick them off and carry on

I'm so deflated by this idea. It's really damaged the credibility of this so-called protest group.

Webster750 *gets patted down*

"why have you got socks on you, mate?"

"to throw them on the pitch in protest."

"I'll have to confiscate those. Sorry."

"oh."

not sure i remember the last time i was patted down at a home game, they check bags but i don't think they pat down anymore, and even if they did it would be something like this

What next? We all turn up in clown costumes. That will really show them we're serious and not to be messed with

That's alot of socks people take to friendlies, but I guess one on each foot is alot unless we have some trendies who don't wear socks - seems to be the thing with the Love Island generation.

I threw all my holed socks away, might have a few odd socks I wouldn't mind throwing away in protest, I may chuck in some pants as well for old times sakes.

I've bought a EuroMillions lottery ticket, There's a £34m jackpot so if I win I'll try and save the club but keep it quiet because if the wife finds out she'll demand at least half of that and a divorce.

It's a good thing it hasn't taken notice truly of HNA. The consensus would be to sit on our hands or eat our prawn sandwiches

Step-up from "take your socks off at a friendly" tbf.

Also, little known fact. Dai is actually allergic to prawns, so the HNA? protest would be more effective against him than the socks one.

I'd say HNA in general were cheese sandwich eaters.
