Loafer i think a violent protest is in order here

ripping up seats in the stadium, digging up the turf, throwing sandwiches and chocolate bars at the board, setting cars on fire

just some light stuff to shit them up

Sounds great mate, but we both know your missus won't let you out for it.

Nor will my boyfriend

Oh lord.

Lets be real, we all knew it would end up going this way. Soft.

All efforts should have been put into the first league game of the season, doing things at PSF's have little or no impact.

They will be. I think you'll see us copy Charlton with the tennis balls at one game. P'Boro would be perfect as the FGOTS.

Bloody hell. Just the sort of protest I expected the Twatter Twits to have come up with.

I listened to the Twitter Space chat the other night and it opened up with something along the lines of "we aren't going to do anything illegal or extreme". Sometimes when it comes to protests you have to do things which are illegal (to a point) and extreme.

Typical softie apathetic Reading.

Still, at least we're doing something.

I think it's reasonable to start with soft protests to see if it can trigger change and then progressively get more extreme. Very typical for certain people on here to just criticise and not offer any suggestions.

It's a demonstration. It doesn't have to be mob handed violence, you pillock. Maybe you can turn up with your face paint and jester hat and a cardboard banner.

As if any protests whatsoever will influence the owner - expect maybe annoy him enough to make him walk away completely.

When you happily take the money of a rich person and hand your club over to them lock stock and barrel, you lose all rights to be listened to.

Yeah, because Dai is going to care if we throw socks on a pitch in another continent to him.

Given recent changes to the law, you don't have to be too extreme to protest illegally anymore. Just the possibility you might make a bit of noise in the street should be enough.

One hopes the Primark store in Reading is well stocked with socks. I'd throw cotton rich socks on but not fully cotton ones.

*gets patted down*

"why have you got socks on you, mate?"

"to throw them on the pitch in protest."

"I'll have to confiscate those. Sorry."

"oh."

Most important question:

Are we going to sing 'Sell before we Dai' or something else?

What tune should it be to?

Maybe 'Live and let Die'?
