Hound Real shame for Ballard. Kid certainly has something about him and I liked his attitude- always positive, worked hard etc. hopefully a simple enough injury and he’s young enough to bounce back quickly

From our pov I do think a more experienced striker who could genuinely step in for Smith is a better option. Someone quite physical. Still plenty of free agents about

Need to not be under embargo for 5 mins for that to happen. Also will depend on if we are on the hook for Ballard's wages and for how long. Imagine there is an automatic break in case of bad injury.

That's easy

Dear parent club

Do you want to:
A) recall Ballard, cancel our wage obligation and treat his injury yourself, or
B) We'll keep paying his wages, and ask our medical team to treat his injury.

Yours RFC

Anyone sane is picking A so we don’t accidentally kill or cripple him

:)

Injury updates from Selles

- TMac a couple of weeks away
- Yiadom slight issue but back full training
- Dorsett knee injury, doubtful for Saturday but should be back for Oxford
- Also Mbengue came off with a calf issue, but just a precaution rather than anything serious

Will be good to have TMac back. Another option for LB or in the Craig/Hutch role. Both areas we could use more.

Not looking forward to playing wheel of fortune at left back if Dorsett is out.

More like russian roulette, but with 4 bullets tbh.

As NGW seems to have peed off Selles again, suspect it’ll be Mola

Bases on last night and how Mola played pretty well when at RB, if Yiadom is fit can see him going left and Mola right else Carson, who also did ok last.night.

Click. Bang.

With a separate bang for the first one for the guy playing the RB game.

Be brave call to play a RB at LB and a very predominantly left footed player at RB but you never know

Something just seemed to click for Mola second half - do think it was partly as Charlton weren’t offering a lot. But he did do well cutting inside. He can clearly play a bit but a bit of a lack of pace and positional awareness seem to be the main issues

Only suggested Yiadom as he has played LB in the past for us so if Selles is not trusting the other options and as said something clicked for Mola at RB last night, it may be the least worst option.

Preferably, would just stick Carson in.

He's also not great at kicking the ball

Presumably you don't come through Chelsea's academy and get signed by Stuttgart without having something about you, even if we haven't seen it yet.

Fluid on a knee- hoped he might be back training before the Cheltenham match.
