Not sure why everyone is so bothered with this deadline? How do we know that we haven't already submitted our case? It probably won't be review for a while, and then we have to wait for the decision to be communicated .

If that's the case then I'll look forward to the mass hysterical tweeting for days on end, each one fuelling the next one.

At least it stops the utter boredom of your typical close season.

If the person responsible for submitting it is the same person who sorts out the wages then they might get 40% of the response on time with the rest submitted at a later date

Everyone is aware that it is unlikely that we will hear anything concrete today unless the club accepts the charge. If there is any plan to defend it, then all we'll hear is that it will go to the independent commission to determine the outcome.

Surely the main defence is that the punishment should be made in a timely manner and giving us a points deduction for something that was widely known about last season now is unjust

Don't think that will wash seeing as I think it's the third instance, which was recent, which has triggered the action.

The most it will be is a suspended points deduction, Wigan were late at least three times before they were given a suspended penalty.

I understand we have submitted a response written on the back of a napkin. It is just the word “guilty”, but spelled wrong.

The last occasion was after the disgracefully late announcement of deduction of points at the start of April?
