A protest outside his house and at Les Ambassadeurs casino would do more than a few tennis balls.

I was thinking some bricks with the RFC crest painted on and dipped in shit through the windows.

Interesting article, but what jumped out at me was that Maquire fella saying it would be a 12 point deduction if we go in to administration but could be another 15 points when we come out of it.
That would almost certainly mean national league.

That is only if as part of coming out of admin - debts aren't settled in line with EFL rule, which I think states that unsecured football creditors must get 25p in the pound. So i.e. any small businesses used for match days.

Not an apologist in any way but the Chinese government decide what and why money can leave China - so, if the money to buy the house came from there, all it shows is the government are fine with him buying a house but not throwing it into the money pit that is a lower league football club.

That will be a big ask if the debt Dai loaded onto the club is unsecured..

And when exactly did dai purchase this house? It doesn’t say in the article. He could have bought this before these Chinese restrictions were put in place

You're still making excuses for why the man who lives in a £100m London mansion won't pay his taxes?

Is there any hope that as a "private man", Dai will be absolutely hating the notoriety with all these articles, in particular one that let's everybody know where he lives? Seems like the right lever to be pulling for me.

I don't believe that counts but could be wrong.

Lol, that would mean we had a 31 points deduction. We'd finish the season on less points than we started it with.

Everton with the shock 10 point deduction! They've somehow got worse lawyers/accountants than us.

Of course they will but 10 points only drops them to 19th and 2 points from safety. Their current form is 10pt from 15pts, think they will comfortably stay up. Point a game for the rest of the year likely sees them safe, which is worse than their earned PPG at the mo.

Should just take it and move on I think. The bottom of the Prem is so far adrift quality wise they’ll easily get back to safety I expect
