PieEater Or (most optimisically) he's on the verge of selling and doesn't want to put in more money than is absolutely necessary.

YorkshireRoyal99Sutekh All recognised by Selles who says the club isn't ready and needs new faces and there are things that have been lined up but how long can they be held? Mr Dai has assured tax bill will be paid but no specifics as to when!
I do find it a bit strange that the theory is that it's hard to get money out of China. Has some financial/accounting rules in China differed in the last 12 months that has now made it harder than say, 3 months ago?
We had no issues paying the tax bill previously. Just seems like it's a case of either Dai has lost interest, has lost his money or both.

Wasn't the latest winding up order the 3rd or 4th under Dai for non-payment of tax?

Snowflake RoyalAscotexgunner Lumley is still a free agent.
We can't sign anyone, so who cares.

Thought we could sign free transfers?
Anyway Lumley said he doesn't want to come back.

Hound The 3 window embargo in itself isn’t an awful thing, could live with that
Certainly don’t need more points penalties

Another 3 transfer embargos pretty much confines us to the next 3 seasons in league one or worse. As it means another 12-18 months without buying players

Almost no one in L1 buys players,it's not required for promotion.
Just look at Wing and Savage.

3points look at teams like Coventry and Luton in recent seasons. Haven't needed to break the bank to get promotion winning teams together. So, while money should help, it still needs a proper plan and a good manager/coach to get the best out of the resources you have.

Playoffs are possible on a modest budgets, but Championship top 2 have basically all had parachute payments or been historically bigger clubs recently. Leeds, Sheffield United and Norwich did it, but I'd say they're all bigger than us.

Shame he probably needs a championship level salary which is paid on in full and on time each month.... might rule out a return.AthleticoSpizz But yes, we really need Lumley back
