Great message.
Wish him luck, but not sure we will have any sort of academy to support moving forward,
We have received the biggest Chinese burn going.

Wycombe Royal
Snowflake Royal Shame. Good luck to him, should have played more. Hope we got something semi decent for him.

Should he? Apart from his first 2 or 3 appearances he showed he wasn't ready for the first team. Couldn't get involved, no strength, had very little impact on games.

It will come, i'm sure of that, but he didn't warrant more time in the first team.

I was thinking the same myself after the last game and before the renewed transfer interest surfaced. Of those we lost over the window, he concerned me lease with regard to any role that he might have otherwise played in our fight/plight.

He may well come (very) good given time and I hope he does. I also hope we got a decent sell-on clause written into the deal but, knowing Chief Clown Dai and his fellow bunch of clowns running the show, I fear not.

Whilst the team has benefited from the change to 4-1-4-1 it has had a negative on Vickers. He's not a winger, despite Selles playing him there, and he'd have a hard task getting in the team ahead of Knibbs in the role just behind the striker.

In the current general circs I'm losing interest in the detail of what happens (HMRC, SBDW, EFL, wages, sanctions,Twitterballs, posting on HNA etc) but Vickers being moved on before we've even had a chance to really see him play in a decent position (not LW) is another nasty blow.

The boy could beat a man, sharp feet, sharp brain, could spot and make a pass, proper skills. Sure, he's only six stone and 12 years old or whatever but I'll miss him.

It's not a new phenomenon - remember Shaun Allaway?...

Promising youth keeper who was taken by Leeds United back in the day...
