Basically said we need footballing people who have a connection to the club running it, and stop external advisors and agents leeching off the club. Called out Joorabchian as someone who has done very well out of our dealings while the club has suffered.

If it was Red Bird saying that stuff we'd be loving it. But it's a serial bullshitter. And his bullshit was exposed. When they asked him about the club's statement yesterday, his failed businesses and the F1 mess he said a load of words that added up to eff all. He's not a serious bidder. I think he's not so much a liar, as an egotist who sees a different reality to the world.

*** Update***

So from what I've heard the reason the statement was put out last night was because the club was worried the article was a breach in the NDA. The deal is still on and all relevant bodies are still in contact with the EFL. The statement was just to placate the EFL new rules
