windermereROYAL Can`t sleep, I`ve always had hope, but this could finally be it.

How the fuck can Wycombe wanderers afford a £50m training facility?

Can't sleep

I think you need to go and see someone if football is causing you to not sleep, you need psychological help.

Now the club really is worth £1 then. Loss making entity with no stadium or training ground. I hope Wycombe can afford to run it as there won't be a Reading FC to give them rent next season.

I've been sympathetic to Bowen, Howe and other staff, but they're helping take us for mugs. Look at all the fundraising efforts of the past week, with fans and local businesses mucking in to help. All counts for nowt if Dai's not selling. Do we really believe the cashflow situation will be better in April as reported?

We're all being lied to. I did contribute some tickets through EPR's plan, but I'm not giving a penny more until Dai is gone. I'll save it to help invest it the phoenix.

If you are silly enough to give your money away like that then you kinda deserve what you get.

There are many worse football clubs out there than Wycombe, they are a decent well run club and the owners have taken an opportunity to invest in their future. Nobody can blame them.

Wouldn't be against amalgamating with them to be honest.

Same thing happened at Bolton. Wigan bought Bolton's 'state of the art' training ground.
We got over it with help from Eddie, Ken and Mike James but its going to be tougher for Reading without an Eddie Davies.

One more marker on the step to liquidation completed.

That's the end of any hope for a Cat 2 Academy, let alone Cat 1, even if we somehow beat the odds and survive.

The club's dead. There's still a few people trying to inject adrenaline and do CPR, but it's dead.

I generally stay pretty positive on things and have always just thought it would all work out fine for us in the end (in either L2 or at worst the Conf), but this does feel pretty desperate now.

but maybe this actually means that those who couldn't afford Dai's silly valuation before can now afford to buy us (the club and the stadium) as long as somewhere is found for us to train? doesn't even need to be somewhere local tbh, just somewhere.

I wonder if Dai is acting out of spite for SBWD and the protests, or whether he's just a c*nt anyway. I suspect the latter, after all we'll be his liquidation hat trick.

He doesn't care about the protests.

Haven't you been told this on numerous ocassions?

Flip side would be that Dai has sold the only thing he could. Now the club can't get any sort of ridiculous valuation he wants so he might as well just sell it off at any price and fcuk off. EDIT: What Winst said,

As the article said Bolton sold their training ground to Wigan. As has been said no one knows what he's thinking and in any procurement or sale you have to try and understand the opposite numbers pov. Here we just don't know.

That’s it for me we’re dead.

The only shed of light I can see is we share the training ground with Wycombe and maybe Dai sells the club and stadium for next to nothing. I want to hear something official from the club and there needs to be an announcement today.

Hasn't the main interested party just walked?

We're done, we've been done since we were lied to about a sale in October. The one thing of genuine value is gone, with no alternative training ground. Not just the value of the club just plummeted, but the costs of buying now include building a nee training ground or being beholden to Wycombe.
