Toilet/river - same thing isn’t it?

Oo er, it’s all getting a bit political in here.

South Coast Royal "Party time"-we need at least a draw to stop Blackpool's outside chance of making the top 6 and possible promotion which would put paid to our party time fixture away there next season.
So there is an incentive.

Blackpool away is your party time fixture? Jeez, Rotherham and Stevenage are pretty grim, but Blackpool is looking the most unattractive likely away fixture next season.

Not with many of our fans who love a trip to Blackpool.

Big trouble

Apparently, according to the Sky Sports Score Centre app, we’ve already folded
We’re not listed in the league table and position 17 is missing completely

Do they know something we don’t ?

Don't worry. the BBC has us top on -6 points. on their "as it stands" table.

I agree with this.

The main 'touristy' part of Blackpool is awful to visit (the area surrounding the seafront). Old run down buildings, often with broken or boarded up windows, suffering from a general lack of maintenance over the years; cheap fast food places; arcades which are fifty years out of date. The place needs a ton of investment. Morecambe's a lot nicer up that way and Fleetwood was better to walk around than Blackpool - not that we're playing either of them next season.

The residential parts of Blackpool are perfectly fine; seems like the perfectly normal standard of housing you'd see in most English towns/cities. That's not where anyone's visiting though.

Wouldn't even say the residential parts are fine unless you mean areas like St Anne's or Thornton Cleveleys which most definitely do not consider themselves part of Blackpool.

Blackpool's a cesspool. It's a dumping ground for the criminally manipulative and the vulnerable because there's hundreds of empty guest houses grateful for the money.

Doesn't matter how much glitter you sprinkle on it, a turd is still a turd.

Bill Bryson in "Notes from a Small Island" said that on Friday and Saturday nights, Blackpool had more public conveniences than any other town in Britain; in other places however, they were called "doorways".

I'm shocked that high profile football agents and football club owners and senior executives act like they're in the mob.

Another charge reported on Twitter. This time Redwood have lent money to Dai's holding company and his shares in Reading FC are the collateral.

Suggests things are close. If they're loaning money to his HoldCo, it suggests it's not funding the operations of the club. So perhaps a down payment on the takeover itself while final legal checks go through?

So, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong,

Redwood have lead money and Dai's shares in the club are the collateral - so if the deal falls through and Dai/the club default on repayments of that loan, Redwood can claim the shares as repayment? Therefore essentially getting the club for nothing.

If that's correct, then suggests it is basically done then doesn't it?

Nothing is done until it's done. But if Dai wants to change his mind, he has to repay all money lent over April and May otherwise the club and Bearwood can be seized at which will be a cut price.

Also interesting* that this charge was signed off by Dai's sister and not Dai.

Leo Rifkind signing for Redwood with Chiron's Sam Helmy witnessing.

Of course, but you know what I mean - signing a charge over both the training ground and the shares in the club can only be a positive sign as is the fact that Dai's sister (who seems less flighty) has signed the latest charge.

This charge was also entered into on the 19th April, so given we are a week later now, may suggest things are moving at pace and the final deal may be days (though likely a couple of weeks) away from being announced.
