FWIW the NFL players association do a survey of their players and release a 'score card' for every team on a range of factors including ownership. The Wilfs were 2nd out of 32 teams, with the Vikings players rating them 9.7/10 (A+ grade) this year.

Also not US based but Swiss based but the reports of an NA group could be wrong unless there are NA investors.

We know they "walked away" so wouldn't be a surprise if they have come back in if the training ground is still a part of the deal - with Rifkind involved the EFL checks should be straight forward enough.
